Base- Modern Service AccommodationThe Base brand focus's exclusively on creating hybrid serviced apartment and hotel developments. Hotels are good at offering flexible accommodation along with services and facilities in the hotel environment (restaurant, gym etc.). Serviced apartments work well for guests who want more space, choice and to save money i.e. the choice to eat out or cook in their room and the cost savings from not eating out for the three meals a day while travelling Base's first site is located in the heart of Nyon, Switzerland and consist of 52 suites – ranging from 27sqm to 42 sqm - over 5 floors, a Luigia restaurant & bar, seating over 150 people, a Base Balcony & Bar (BB&B) with views over lake Geneva and a gym. Base Nyon is located 50m from Nyon train station, in the heart of Nyon (400m from the lake) and 14 minutes by train to Geneva or 25 minutes to Lausanne. Base's second site has open in Vevey, Switzerland in Spring 2018. It includes 35 Suites, a restaurant & bar with 200m2 terrace, a 100m2 roof terrace with views over the Alpes, a gym, sauna and meeting rooms. Base focuses on providing a modern, comfortable and functional Suites that offer a place to eat, work, relax and sleep (all beds will be king sized) and include fully equipped kitchens, with coffee machines, toasters, kettles, ovens, four ring induction hobs, fridges and freezers and dishwashers. Base offers a number of innovative products and services that are exclusive to Base: - Base Box (BB), - Base Breakfast Bag (BBB), - Base Bikes – (BBs).This is all wrapped up with:- Ecological build and sustainable operational techniques – high level insulation, windows, solar panels, no chemicals used for cleaning or rooms, A+ electronic equipment throughout, zero use of throw-away plastic etc. - The latest technology: super fast free Wi-Fi, self-check in/out touch screen kiosks, internet TV's, VoIP phones (free calls) and RFID key cards.
