Bass Cat Boats is the premier fiberglass bass boat manufacturer located in Mountain Home, Arkansas. The company was founded by the Pierce family in 1971. In 2011 Yar-Craft joined the Bass Cat family with the Pierce's acquiring the line from the Suthers family and extending that tradition, started by Jack Dallman in 1969. Bass Cat Boats still carries on the family tradition with Rick Pierce as President, under the parent company Correct Craft (2015) with over 90 years of manufacturing boats.
