Bastida is a scaffold, a temporary structure dedicated to hold workers and materials during the construction, repair, or decoration of a building, helping them reach areas that would not be accessible without it. Bastida also sounds as the Spanish word "vestida" which means "dressed", equiped with the right clothes.In Bastida we build garments for workers, meaning them to adapt, not unify. We want to understand worker's daily activities, the tools they use and the conditions that sorround them, in order to optimise their performance and make them feel comfortable. We believe workwear is a conscious way of producing withal. Taking into account the entire cycle of the product, regardless of the trend, to meet a need rather than creating one. Getting dressed in the morning is thinking of what are you going to find yourself doing the most of your day.
