Bates Nursery and Garden Center is a third-generation family-owned plant and tree nursery located just a few minutes' drive from downtown Nashville. Bates Nursery and Garden Center was established in 1932 by Bessie Bates, and has been beautifying Nashville for nearly 100 years.Bates Nursery supplies quality plants and landscape supplies to Middle Tennessee and surrounding areas. Prized for our large selection of seasonal and perennial plants, guests will find a delightful array of both garden staples and rare and unique finds. All plant material is meticulously cared for by our knowledgeable staff, ensuring plant health and vigor in the long term. We are known wide selection of container grown trees, including Nashville's broadest selection of Japanese maples. Shrubs, woody ornamental plants, perennials, and seasonal annual color can also be found at our Whites Creek Pike location. Houseplant enthusiasts will find a wide variety of unique houseplants and tropical plants, as well as a gorgeous selection of indoor and outdoor pottery.
