Baxter Bars LTD:After the success of Charlie Baxter's in Ellerslie, Baxter Bars has extended the family with two other branches in City Center on Karangahape road. One is called Thirsty Dog Tavern & Cafe, that is a live music venue and the second one is Charlie Baxter's on Kroad, known for great DJ nights.1. Charlie Baxter's is a range of independently owned and operated free houses in Ellerslie and on K Road in Auckland. Specializing in the finest of craft beers NZ and surround has to offer.We have a tap rotating system, which means there is always something new to try each week. We have a grand selection of spirits, from your standard to the finer tastes, at Charlie Baxter's we aim to please everyone, so if craft beer isn't for you, we have plenty more options available.There is something for everyone at Charlie's!2. Thirsty Dog Tavern & Cafe:We got a wide menu of food, variety of craft beers on tap and bottles, choice of NZ & Australian wines. They have something planned for every day. Movie Night, Poetry night, Open Jam nights, Comedy Nights and great music band performances over the weekends.3. Charlie Baxter's on Kroad:Great range of wines, Liquor, craft beers and next-door neighbours Free Bird's tasty food menu on top of that a friendly staff. We organize DJ nights every Friday and Saturday. The best thing about that is we give fair chance to different DJ"s every time and entry is free always just pop in.Our food menu might be small, but don't dismiss us for that. Our philosophy is to keep it simple. From the homemade seasoning on our fries to the crumb on our fried chicken and the handmade dough, we use for our pizzas.
