Laurie has studied photography, portraiture and digital imaging at the Academy of Art College graduate program in S.F., and with various masters. Her work has been published in catalogs, magazines, books and various music CD booklets and covers. She lives most of the year in the SF Bay Area and stays in Baja Ca Sur, Mexico part time. A good photographer brings out the best in a subject. Laurie enjoys working on projects where she can capture authentic natural emotion and true character. Storytelling brings a special life and emotion to each picture. She photographs people and creates portraits with great with sensitivity, grace and integrity.
