Founded in 2009, Bayou Grove has been able to successfully expand its footprint in the Houston market by developing and managing over 200,000 square feet of shopping center space since its inception. Bayou Grove, LP is a privately funded organization that primarily works with private capital investors. Since 2009, the company has formed partnerships and joint ventures with investors in acquiring and selling raw land in the Houston, Texas area. As of 2018, Bayou Grove and its various partnerships have acquired and sold over 150 acres, or 5,700,000 square feet. As recently as 2017, the company has decided to diversify its holdings in commercial real estate and expand into hospitality development. The firm has partnered with Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) and will be constructing and operating a 65,200 square foot Holiday Inn in Northwest Houston.
