BB International is a private school for students from Pre-School age through Grade 5 located in Pompano Beach, FL. Founded in 1983, BBI's campus is located on over 1.5 acres of Pompano Beach and boasts the historic McNab House built in 1925. As a School of the Arts, BB International incorporates a wide variety of teachers and skills into its custom curriculum, including a culinary lab taught by a professional chef, two Ateliers with trained artists teaching the fine arts, weekly cinema, music & yoga classes, and a language immersion program taught by native language speaking teachers. The lower school's philosophy is a blend of Reggio inspired approach based on the foundations of Bruner, Vygotsky and Piaget and traditional Montessori practices. As the children progress into the primary grades, the curriculum is based on the STEAM framework (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) and fostering innovation through the conjunction of the traditional academic disciplines with the creativity and freedom of the arts.
