The Bulk Construction Materials Initiative (BCMI), is a collaboration with leading material producers for ready mix concrete, aggregate, Portland cement, and hot mix asphalt. BCMI develops cloud-based, mobile software tools that empower these producers to improve business processes and achieve their goals. From a cell phone or tablet, producers can keep an eye on customers' orders, track plant production, record customer meetings, and check QC data. Their customers have unprecedented access to real-time information about projects and performance, and the ability to place orders and check order statuses without calling a dispatcher. CRM and Dispatch are in field-testing now, with Billing and AR soon to follow.Our producer partners share their expertise, and we bring the development to deliver a steady stream of new tools with a pre-proven value proposition. BCMI is cloud based on AWS, using Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP (LAMP) as the core programming tools, using HTML5, iOS, and Android for the user experience. Security uses HTTPS, SSL, ISO27001, Payment Card Industry (PCI) PCI Service Provider, and SSAE16 (SOC1, SOC2, and SOC3). There are direct web services with Oracle, SAP, and many other operational and financial systems running on various technical stacks.
