BE4E denotes Boundary Element For Engineers. BE4E was developed by Prof Youssef.F.Rashed and his research group. BE4E is oriented to the production of structural analysis software packages based on the Boundary Element Analysis Method.Currently, the main project applied by the BE4E is the PLPAK software package.The PLPAK is special purpose software package for structural analysis of building slabs and foundations. The PLAPK uses the boundary element method as numerical method. It also uses the shear-deformable plate bending theory according to Reissner.
