Civic & Social Organization - Boston, Massachusetts, United States
The Beacon Hill Civic Association (BHCA) was established in 1922 by a small but concerned group of neighbors whose goal was to protect Beacon Hill's historic residential character. Today, the BHCA continues as a volunteer organization that helps preserve and enhance the quality of life on Beacon Hill, a historic, urban, residential neighborhood in downtown Boston. As an organization, the BHCA acts as an advocate for Beacon Hill residents and facilitates the flow of important information. The BHCA maintains its focus on the founders' original concerns - zoning, licensing, traffic, parking, and neighborhood cleanliness. Monitoring citywide developments that impact the neighborhood and planning community-building events, both social and informational, are among the organization's major activities.Follow our Facebook page (@BHCivic) and our Instagram page (@beaconhillcivicassociation) for the most up-to-date information.
