about // bean is a clothing & accessories company born in portland, oregon. it is inspired by our little black & tan dachshund, bean. he is our hero. a couple of years ago bean suffered a serious back injury that caused him to lose control of his hind legs. we were devastated and didn't know what our little guy's outcome would be. he underwent major reconstructive back surgery and miraculously made a full recovery. bean needed a partner in crime to keep his spirits high so we adopted a wire-haired, bearded, little brother for him, joyles vanguard of the woldorfs. bean is the president of the company. van is the vp. they light up our life with their quirky wiener dog ways & we assure you that they will do the same for yours. giving back // giving back to the organizations that improve the lives of both hound AND humans is very important to us. our little dachshund bean and his adopted brother van are the heart of our company. for this reason, we contribute a portion of each purchase to selected animal shelters and rescue organizations throughout the year including the pixie project, oregon dachshund rescue, the oregon humane society and many more. with your support we are able to help the many hounds who need a loving home and the many humans who need the love only a hound can bring. stay in touch // email | info@beangoods.com instagram | @beangoods twitter | @the_beanbeanies
