Finding a sense of community is an essential part of the college experience, and many do so by joining clubs. The importance of community is easy to overlook, as students are overwhelmed managing all that is thrown at them, trying to become familiar with their new life. The club recruiting process at UC Berkeley is a reason to avoid joining clubs altogether. Sproul Hall is a warzone of flyers, leaving students with an unclear representation of clubs, wasting the time of both clubs and recruits. At BearCrawl, we are a group of students that has experienced these inefficiencies first hand and aim to streamline the recruiting process of clubs to help all students better establish their community.
