Bearcat Solar Car Details
Bearcat Solar Car is UC's solar car team. We are dedicated to designing and building a vehicle to compete in the American Solar Challenge (ASC) and the Formula Sun Grand Prix (FSGP). The ASC and FSGP are collegiate design competitions that challenges students to design, build, test, and race a solar powered vehicle. BCSC provides students with practical design and manufacturing experience while challenging them to use their acquired knowledge, teamwork, and creativity to complete the project. The cars are built as a team effort over a period of one year and then taken to annual competitions to compete against other colleges and universities from around the world.
