Beatson House is a beautiful 18th century stone building with small intimate dining rooms with superb decor and a friendly, informal atmosphere.The menu includes a wide variety of locally farmed meat & poultry and a daily selection of fresh fish. Depending on the season, such dishes may include Scarborough pot-caught lobster, Round Green Farm venison, slow-roasted belly pork and of course, the famous Barnsley Lamb Chop.Vegetarians will be delighted to discover that Lee is trained by the vegetarian society and as all food is prepared freshly special dietary requirements are happily catered for.There is a very good choice of home-made deserts and a fine selection of Yorkshire cheeses.
