Metals/Mining - Hitchcock, TX, US
Bebco was founded in 1972 by B.E. "Benny" Baucom as an Instrument Panel Shop and over the years ventured into I&E Construction, Plant Startups and Analytical System Integration. In 1985, the EPS Division was launched to manufacture Enclosure Purging Systems, which was quickly followed by the formation of the Environmental Control Units Division. As the parent entity, what became known as the PMB Division manufactured Portable Modular Buildings in the form of Blast Resistant Buildings, Interlocking Sheet Metal Panel & Fiberglass Buildings, and they also produced Instrument Racks, Sheds & Canopies, and Industrial Stairs & Platforms. Over the years, the impeccable quality of products was renowned in the Gulf Coast Region, and the EPS Division was sold to Pepperl+Fuchs in 2003 to fund the development of a massive building manufacturing facility in Hitchcock, Texas. Mike Baucom, Benny's son and CEO then purchased the ECU Division in 2010, and formed Bebco Environmental Controls Corporation in 2012. He continued as the acting CEO until helping his father sell the remaining assets to Parkline, Incorporated in 2016. All employees of Bebco were retained by the new owners, and many of them still work at this equally prestigious manufacturing company, continuing a proud tradition of producing America's most quality-driven modular industrial buildings! The founder and his son extent their heartfelt and humble appreciation for the many employees who worked with extreme dedication over the 44 year history on this Texas corporation, and are honored to have served their needs as they helped them build grow and manage a truly phenomenal company!
