Beijing Energy Club was founded in 2008, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Roma Club, as we aim to tackle similar issues the Roma Club talked about in 1968, but with a much bigger scale: resource depletion and environmental pollution. We also tackle climate change problems that did not exist or people were not aware of in the late 1960s.Since foundation, we gathered ministers, CEOs and leading academics to discuss hot issues facing China and the whole world, trying to find solutions. Our logo is composed of two heads, black and while, one roof, and the earth with a key. It means people from different background with different ideas gathered under the same roof, looking for solutions to the earth problems.
