Founded in 1909, Beijing No.2 Experimental Primary School is recognized as China's best elementary school, located in Beijing City, with 15 campuses: Xinwenhuajie (新文化街校区), Wangfu (王府校区), Guanyuan (官园校区), Changan (长安校区), Desheng (德胜校区), Guangwai (广外分校), Yihai (怡海分校), Chaoyang (朝阳分校), Yihai (怡海分校), Baiyunlun (白云路分校), Yongding (永定分校), Huairou (怀柔分校), Shoushuihe (涭水河分校), Tongzhou (通州分校), and Guiyang (贵阳分校).Beijing No.2 Experimental Primry School was initially named as No.2 Primary School Attached to Imperial Women School(京师女子师范学堂附属两等小学堂) since founded in Qing Dynasty (清宣统二年), was renamed to (国立北平女子高等师范学校附属小学校) in 1911 under the rein of Republic of China (now Taiwan), and was eventually changed to its current name in 1955 since People's Republic of China.
