BeijingDance/LDTX (LDTX) is China's first officially registered private professional contemporary dance company co-founded in 2005 by Willy TSAO and LI Han-zhong. LDTX is an acronym for Lei Dong Tian Xia which translates into "thunder rumbles the universe". The company's dancers come from different cities across China infusing individuality with exquisite techniques and excellent creativity and talents. With creativity, performance and teaching as backbone, the company is devoted to provide full-coverage of development and promotion of modern dance, to provide a carefree platform for Chinese dance artists to present multi-dimensional thinking and sentiments.Embodying the main characteristics of modern dance - individualism, mindful of current times and original creation, the company has, since its establishment, created an extensive repertoire of works and has performed at major China and international events and festivals in more than 20 countries and regions across the five continents. The company also organizes influential international cultural exchange platforms such as the annual Beijing Dance Festival in July.
