Belgrade Open School has been conducting its one-year multidisciplinary educational programme for selected students of Belgrade universities since 1993, thus recognizing and developing future bearers of social change. Since then, the programme has adapted its methodology, modules, and content in striving to maintain its quality and meet the ever-changing challenges of the modern society. Throughout these 25 years, the programme has also changed its name (i.e. Department for Advanced Undergraduate Studies, Credibell School, Main Programme, European Union and the Balkans), and is today known as the "Future Studies". The best advocates of the quality and results of this programme are the alumni and alumnae themselves, who are today taking important positions in the public, civil, and business sectors, in the domestic and world academic community, and are still involved in numerous activities of BOS. The alumni network of this program today counts more than 1,200 members. The programme is intended for the students of finishing years and master studies of Belgrade universities who are curious, restless spirit, active, ambitious, eager to gain new knowledge, who stand strongly for the continuous personal and professional development, and have a very clear feeling and a need for changing their community and making it better. Today the main components of the program are:- Four teaching modules of knowledge and skills- Internship program- The final project- Alumni2Students mentoring programBy affirming the role of additional and alternative educational methods in acquiring and discovering new knowledge and skills, students of the "Future Studies" are able to use the rare opportunity they have been given to bypass the existing barriers of the classical education and open themselves up to a whole new educational experience. The "Future Studies" programme is constantly improving and harmonizing with the needs of its students and the modern trends in education.
