Bellevue Chamber Chorus is a nonprofit organization which exists to bring beauty and artistic inspiration to the community through the choral arts. Our membership consists of 28–30 auditioned singers of diverse backgrounds, who perform 3 major concerts per season. We are known locally for well-curated, stylistically and culturally diverse programming encompassing a variety of choral literature from classical standards and contemporary works, to "world music", Broadway hits, and vocal jazz. Our concerts are crafted to be accessible and appealing to a broad audience base, with the goal of providing entertainment, education, and cross-cultural understanding using that most basic of human instruments: the voice! The Chorus has performed in the Puget Sound region continuously since 1984, frequently collaborating with other performing groups in the area, and commissioning several new compositions which were premiered here in the Northwest. The Chorus tours often, both locally and internationally, and has made several recordings.
