Benevolence Financial Group Details

Our story started with a simple question: what if businesses could be the answer to the biggest problems humanity is facing?Working in finance, we became frustrated with the status quo of profit maximisation. We know that while it may lead to economic benefit, it also drives huge problems in income inequality and climate change. Why shouldn't for-profit business be equally committed to profit and social good? For us, the root cause of the problem was the structure of how business operate and the foundation of self-interest, rather than reciprocity, at the core of business. At its heart, home for a home is a simple idea. With the belief that people inherently care about their communities, we flipped the industry on its head. We made simple and innovative changes with extraordinary impact. We provide choice and advice in navigating complex home loan options, from a panel of 30+ banks, to find the best outcome for our customers. For each loan we secure, we commit up to 50% of our profits to empower other families in need with a chance to build their home too. When you choose us, you choose to be a hero in supporting another family in need. Why do we do it? Because we can and because we deeply believe we should exist to serve people and communities. Loving our neighbours as ourselves is the only way we are better together. Our values of fair play, compassion and egalitarianism are at the heart of our decisions and who we are. We let our wallets do the talking in the fight for a just, equitable and sustainable future. It's not only the right thing to do, but also the smarter thing to do. Businesses have the opportunity and obligation to act on the pressing needs of our people and planet in the 21st-century problems. And it all starts with the simple choices we make. What will your choice be?

Benevolence Financial Group: A New Standard for Financial Services In an era where profit maximization often takes precedence over social good, Benevolence Financial Group (BFG) is a breath of fresh air. This Australian-based financial services company is revolutionizing the industry with a unique approach that prioritizes both profit and social impact. Founded by Samuel Philipos, BFG's story began with a simple question: what if businesses could be the solution to the biggest problems facing humanity? Frustrated with the status quo of profit maximization, Philipos and his team set out to create a different kind of financial services company - one that combines financial expertise with a commitment to social good. At its core, BFG's philosophy is centered around the belief that businesses have a responsibility to serve people and communities, not just shareholders. The company's innovative approach to home loans is a prime example of this philosophy in action. By providing choice and advice in navigating complex home loan options, BFG helps its customers find the best outcome for their needs. But that's not all - for each loan secured, BFG commits up to 50% of its profits to empower other families in need, helping them build their own homes. This people-first approach is reflected in BFG's values of fair play, compassion, and egalitarianism. The company's commitment to social impact is not just a marketing gimmick, but a fundamental part of its DNA. As Philipos notes, "We let our wallets do the talking in the fight for a just, equitable, and sustainable future." BFG's approach is not only admirable, but also smart. In an increasingly complex and interconnected world, businesses have a unique opportunity and obligation to act on the pressing needs of our people and planet. By prioritizing social good alongside profit, BFG is setting a new standard for the financial services industry. As Philipos aptly puts it, "Why shouldn't for-profit businesses be equally committed to profit and social good?" With BFG leading the way, we may soon see a world where businesses are not just a force for profit, but a force for good.

Our story began with a question: what if businesses could help solve the big problems facing our world? We used to work in finance, but we didn't like how businesses were only focused on making money, which led to unfairness and environmental problems. We thought, why can't businesses care about making money and doing good for society at the same time? We realized that the way businesses operate and the idea that people only care about themselves were the root of the problem. Our solution was to create a business that helps people find the best home loan options and gives back to the community. We give our customers choices and advice to find the best loan for them, and we use up to half of our profits to help other families in need build their own homes. When you choose our business, you're helping another family in need. We do this because we believe it's the right thing to do and because we think businesses should exist to help people and communities. We believe in treating others the way we want to be treated and that everyone should have an equal chance to succeed. We're not just talking about it, we're taking action and using our money to make a difference in the fight for a fair, equal, and sustainable future. It's not only the right thing to do, but it's also the smart thing to do. Businesses have the power and responsibility to help solve the problems of our time, and it starts with the choices we make. So, what choice will you make?
