William F. Bennett, M.D. is an internationally recognized, board-certified orthopedic surgeon with offices in Sarasota and Venice, Florida. The fact that he has been using these cutting edge treatments for so long has allowed him to follow his patients' out comes for years while tailoring specific, customized treatments for different types of injuries.Dr. Bennett graduated from Wake Forest University in 1984 and the University of Connecticut Medical School in 1988. He completed his internship in Orthopedic Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in 1989 and his Residency at the University of South Florida and University of Texas Health Center (1990-1993). Dr. Bennett then completed a fellowship in Upper Extremity (Shoulder and Elbow) Surgery with world-renown surgeon Christian Gerber in Fribourg, Switzerland in 1993 and another fellowship in Sports Medicine/Knee Arthroscopy in Los Angeles in 1994.
