Berman Guedes Stretton was formed in 1996 and has staff across offices in Oxford and London. Our projects span the commercial, culture, leisure and residential sectors with the majority of our work in higher education.We regularly work for a number of universities including: Oxford, Southampton, Wolverhampton, Leicester, Birmingham, Warwick, Queen Mary - University of London, University of the Arts and Imperial College London and have active framework agreements with several of these. We have also undertaken major projects for many Oxford and Cambridge Colleges. Our completed projects cover a wide range of building types, both new and refurbishment, and often have the added challenge of working in complex historic environments with Grade I, Grade II and Grade II* listed buildings.The practice has worked hard to develop its reputation for creative, high quality architecture. This has been acknowledged through winning a number of invited and open design competitions and many awards, including the RIBA National award, RIBA and RICS Regional Awards and RIBA Conservation and Sustainability Awards and most recently the AJ Higher Education Building of the Year 2017.
