Recreational Facilities & Services - Berrien Springs, Michigan, United States
The Berrien County Sportsman's Club was established in 1934 and is a 501(c)4 non-profit organization. Our facility consists of 95 acres of land located on the St. Joseph River in Berrien Springs, MI. We have approximately 450 Family Memberships that allows the members to use all of the club facilities. This includes archery, muzzle loader, pistol, rifle, skeet and voice activated trap ranges. Trout and salmon fishing on one of the top trout streams in the nation and camping in our 25 site camp ground. In the winter we simply move indoors where we shoot archery, pistols and junior rifles. In addition to this, we also work with the Michigan DNR to raise 38,000 Chinook salmon and 24,000 Steelhead trout in our rearing ponds for release into the river each spring. This results in a very high return rate of these fish to the release site each year.
