According to the Mars 2016, Indonesia's rank 60th of 61 countries in term of reading interest. This condition generate BETA PEDULI Indonesia to do more activities especially motivate student to increase reading interest through the library revitalization including providing of books. BETA PEDULI Indonesia (Library Revitalization Youth Support for Indonesian Environmental) established on January 2017.We are a movement (communities) encouraged by the same uneasiness by these young people about the educational and environmental conditions in rural area.This community was initiated by young people from multi regions in Indonesia who have diverse professional backgrounds.Naming of BETA PEDULI INDONESIA other than as acronyms (in Bahasa Indonesia) "[BE]DAH PERPUS[TA]KAAN [PE]MUDA [DU]KUNG [LI]NGKUNGAN INDONESIA". BETA PEDULI means "I CARE" which meaning of "PEDULI" in English is "Care" and other while "BETA" in the Maluku* language means "I".VISION: as a forum for all young generations in Indonesia to conduct positive activities, especially to promote the general welfare and intellectual life of the nation as mandated in the Preamble of the 1945 Constitution, especially in this case through the improvement of educational infrastructure and community empowerment activities in a sustainable manner.MISSION:Infrastructure recondition that supports learning activities, especially libraries.Improve education quality through training and sharing session both for students and teacher relate with academically and non-academically.Fostering awareness of the local community towards education and regional progress in terms of economic, social and cultural.Providing health services and/ or community empowerment activities.Embraced strategic partners to ensure BETA PEDULI Indonesia activities will sustain for long term.(*Source: http://www.thejakartapost.com/life/2016/08/29/indonesia-ranks-second-last-in-reading-interest-study.html)
