Making care easier for everyone together. We are working on this with BeterDichtbij. As a digital service, we make it possible for people to talk to their own doctor or other healthcare provider: simple and safe. In just over a year, BeterDichtbij has already been actively used by hospitals and GP organizations throughout the Netherlands. We work every day to ensure that BeterDichtbij optimally meets the needs of users: from consumers to doctors or other healthcare providers. BeterDichtbij is an initiative of and for the healthcare sector. The Netherlands is too small for many individual initiatives and digital services need scale to really be a success and make a difference to the healthcare sector. That is why twenty-eight regional hospitals, the members of the Association of Collaborative General Hospitals (SAZ), have joined forces and initiated BeterDichtbij together. BeterDichtbij has been an independent organization since 2018 to make the fast-growing service available to all healthcare organizations in the Netherlands. With the privatization of BeterDichtbij BV, we can further expand the success together with all care organizations in the Netherlands.
