A REMARKABLE STORYIn 2016 we met the Bertoia's, a beautiful family who were kind enough to share a remarkable story with us. At 17 years old, their son Daniel, a young man who loved hockey, was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. He immediately made it his mission in life to help find a cure.Through a partnership with SickKids Foundation, the family started a charity called "Skate With Daniel" and have been raising money for research ever since. After being introduced to other courageous kids with incredible stories just like his, we had an idea. We wanted to let the world know who these young heroes were, as each of them selflessly had a similar goal in mind.Not long after, Bettersocks was born, to create socks featuring hand-drawn artwork from real kids, to help raise money for better research and a brighter future.
