Beyond the Border is Wales' International Storytelling Festival – bringing stories and people together, from Wales and the World, through an inspirational bi-ennual festival and projects which deepen connection through the power of stories.The festival is one of the leading storytelling festivals in the UK and showcases the best of storytelling from around the world and attracts visitors of all ages from across the UK and overseas.In addition to the Festival weekend itself, BtB also promotes a year-round programme of performance storytelling events, as well as a wide range of innovative education and outreach projects.Beyond The Border is also a member and contributor to FEST, the Federation for European StorytellingBeyond the Border funds its activities through a combination of ticket sales, fund-raised income from individuals, Trusts & Foundations and commercial supporters, and public-sector funding, primarily Arts Council of Wales and Welsh Government Major Events Unit.Beyond the Border yw Gŵyl Chwedleua Ryngwladol Cymru - gan ddod â straeon a phobl ynghyd, o Gymru a'r byd, drwy ŵyl a gynhelir bob dwy flynedd a phrosiectau sy'n dyfnhau cysylltiad drwy rym straeon.Mae'r ŵyl yn un o brif wyliau chwedleua Prydain ac yn arddangos chwedleua ar ei orau o bob rhan o'r byd ac yn denu ymwelwyr o bob oed o bob rhan o Brydain a thramor.Yn ogystal â phenwythnos yr Ŵyl ei hunan, mae BtB hefyd yn hyrwyddo rhaglen drwy'r flwyddyn o ddigwyddiadau perfformiad chwedleua, yn ogystal ag ystod eang o brosiectau addysg a phrosiectau maes arloesol.Mae Beyond the Border hefyd yn aelod ac yn cyfrannu at FEST, Ffederasiwn Chwedleua Ewropeaidd.
