2b design is an award-winning social enterprise whose flagship brand [beyt] means house/home in Semitic languages. 2b design turns architectural salvage from 18th, 19th and early 20th c. destroyed houses in conflict zones into one-of-a-kind home decor items. The mission of 2b design is to restore the unseen beauty of the broken. The company trains and hires marginalized and disabled persons of diverse religious, ethnic and cultural backgrounds and helps them become world class artisans. The handcrafted production of items is currently done in Beirut Lebanon and Cambridge Massachusetts.
