Bharathi Tamil Academy (BTA) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization teaching Tamil in the Redmond, Washington area. BTA was started with a with a mission to teach Tamil language and its culture to the diaspora Tamil children living in Redmond vicinity. BTA was started in 2018 with 60 students and now in its third year has around 120 students. BTA is a 100% volunteer run organization. BTA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in its administration of its services and programs.
