Bhavan at a Glance:Inspired by a vision of emerging new india, late Kulpati K.M Munshi laid the foundation of the Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan in November 1938, in Mumbai, a decade in advance of the political independence. Since then it has been striving for the revival of the Indian cultural without any barriers of caste, creed and color and it aims at the restoration of faith in moral, spiritual and ethical values.Objective Notwithstanding its faith in the revival of ancient cultural values, the Bhavan aims at making available to every young Indian an opportunity to acquire modern education , stimulate power of expression and develop an all – around personality. The Bhavan believe that the essence of all cultures, including religions and faiths transcends all barriers between man and man and helps in bringing people together.
