Events Services - Bogota, Bogota, Colombia
Biciq.com is an online ticketing platform for the Colombian market that essentially allows the little guys to host events and sell tickets. There are huge organizations willing to wait on the Lady Gagas of the world hand and foot, but if you don't command that kind of audience, you'll probably find that dealing with these organizations is more headache than it's worth between lengthy contract negotiations, high fees, and never-ending bureaucracy. It's for that reason that so many small and medium-sized events here in Colombia require cash transactions at specific sales outlets or in person bank deposits to reserve a ticket – a frustratingly inefficient system for both the event attendee and the organizer. With biciq.com it has been our goal to streamline these logistics and create a product that was simple, efficient, and inexpensive (free for organizers!!), much the same as the inspiration for our name: a bicycle. With our service, an event organizer can create his own event page on our website and be up and selling tickets in a matter of minutes (no contract negotiations, no phone calls, etc.). Once completed, that organizer can direct his desired attendees to that page to buy their tickets using a credit card, an online bank transfer (PSE) or by printing out a receipt to pay in person at one of the thousands of Baloto locations throughout the country. Electronic tickets arrive via email moments later and the organizer can verify their validity by scanning them with an iPhone or simply by printing a guest list. The process removes the need for extensive third party support and allows even the smallest organizations to easily sell tickets for any type of event. So far our service has been used successfully for a number of events, from professional education seminars to nightclub entrances. We believe our product is the best available in Colombia and will really improve the lives of both event organizers and attendees over the long run.
