VISION: Every Child in Niagara Falls Who Needs a Mentor, Has a Mentor.MISSION: Our mission is to create mentorship experiences that enhance a child's self-worth so that they are happier today, and better citizens tomorrow.Many children and youth in Canada struggle with societal barriers and face adversities in their lives. Facing prolonged adversity creates toxic stress in the brain that can negatively impact development. With the support of a mentor, these risks can be reduced or even avoided, and youth can reach their full potential.Big Brothers Big Sisters offers key programs that deliver mentoring to the children and youth of Niagara Falls through: traditional one-to-one mentoring, in-school mentoring, group mentoring and parent student mentoring in partnership with Strive Niagara.
