Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho serves the Treasure Valley by providing mentors to children who benefit from a caring adult role model -- a dependable friend who can help expand their horizons, realize their potential and enrich their futures--changing their lives. Spending time one-to-one, our volunteer mentors provide friendship, emotional support and hope to the young people they are matched with, giving the child the invaluable gift of friendship by simply spending time one-to-one with them. We have seen the results and believe strongly in the Big Brothers Big Sisters vision and mission: Our mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally-supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.
