Big Shock Racing is a professional racing team which has been participating for 15 year in the most challenging race in the world – Rally Dakar and other marathon cross country competitions. The key racer in the field of truck is Martin Macik Jr., who placed 10th this year. Big Shock Racing started in 2016 as a partnership of very experienced KM Racing and Big Shock, a brand of high quality Czech energy drinks. Team boss is Martin Macik senior who founded the team back in 2008, however he has been participating in Dakar as a pilot since 2003. Team also rents out their vehicles in a "Rent me!!!" program which allows other racers compete among trucks or motorcycles. Big Shock Racing can help professionals and enthusiastic amateurs who want to fulfil their dream and compete in the most challenging race in the world with the technical side of things, complex preparations, administrative agenda, needed experiences and quality service during the competition. During last year´s races in the South American continent they sent out to compete the Liaz truck with pilots Martin Macik Senior, Martin Macik Jr., Ladislav Fajtl, Vlastimil Vildman, Jaroslav Valtr and Jozef Cabal. Motorcyclists David Pabiska, Dusan Randysek, Lukas Kvapil and Ivan Jakes. Quad riders Josef Machacek and Martin Plechaty. On top of that Big Shock Racing is participating in the Russian Silk Way Rally and a few other smaller competitions like Baja Aragon, Baja Drawsko, Baja Poland and Hungarian Baja.
