Big Sur Productions is an independent company run by Monica and Stephanie Shaw. We help businesses communicate their messages through high-quality visual content.Specialising in videos and screencasts, we draw on our complimentary set of skills to create compelling multimedia.Monica Shaw | Co-Founder, Editorial DirectorMonica Shaw is a mathematician turned writer with over five years experience in instructional design. She's created e-learning content for brands as diverse as Whole Foods, MIT's Sloan Business School and Pitney Bowes. She is also a practised training facilitator and teacher, and currently serves as Associate Lecturer in Mathematics at the Open University. As a writer, Monica frequently writes for the popular press, with credits including The Daily Telegraph, Writer Magazine and food magazine. She has an M.S. in Computational and Applied Mathematics from the University of Texas.Stephanie Shaw | Co-Founder, Production LeadStephanie Shaw is a media specialist with over five years experience in video production and editing. As a camera operator, Final Cut Pro editor, and all-around computer junkie, she uses the tools of her trade to tell stories. Stephanie is also heavily involved in business and marketing, and has worked with such brands as Captain Morgan, Cadbury and Best Buy. She has a B.S. in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and is currently studying for her MBA.
