Founded in 1972, Bike East Bay safeguards the interests of bicyclists in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. We work with 33 cities, Caltrans, and other government agencies to make bicycling in the East Bay safer, easier, and more enjoyable. Bike East Bay represents its 4,000+ individual members and the several thousand members of 19 affiliated clubs and organizations that are part of the coalition.
