Bikram Yoga is a 90 minute class that utilizes 26 Hatha Yoga postures or asanas that were systematically picked to target and improve every system of the body. The heated room serves to help keep the body safe while pushing the mind to focus, concentrate, and meditate. The sequence is designed so that every posture warms up the muscles and joints needed for the next posture, in addition to working the organs, glands, and nervous system in a systematic and profound way. The Bikram series has the deepest impact on the body's insides and functioning. It is a challenging, exciting and vigorous series, and it gets the best results of any kind of yoga practiced today.
