Billo's Caracas Boys is a Venezuelan Orchestra founded in 1940 by Luis Maria "Billo" Frometa. Its genre is based on Latin and Caribbean rhythms as Merengue, Cumbia, Guaracha, Pasodoble, Bolero, etc. The band is conformed by 18 Persons on stage, 14 Musicians including 2 Trombon, 3 trumpets, 4 Saxophones, 1 bass, 1 piano,1 Battery-Timbal, 2 percussions, and 4 singers. Many times the band increases the number of integrants for special performances including extra singers, extra percussion, etc... The orchestra has a wide repertoire that includes more than 2500.Currently the band it's directed by the third generation being one of the Grandchildren of the " El Maestro" (the Master) Billo Frometa who directs the group.
