Bindaa Social Ventures is a non profit social enterprise incubator. Currently we are working on three initiatives Current BSV Projects NGO Analytics - An NGO aimed at education of and better enablement and understanding of metrics for NGOs and CBOs through partnership, awareness campaigns, and consulting. NGO Analytics will bring together the best minds in M&E to help create methodologies and approaches to facilitate the field of M&E through online tools, systems and processes, research papers, analysis and sharing of best practices. Kibera Contact Center - Based in the Kibera slum of Nairobi - Bindaas Social Ventures is partnered to build and operate a 4,000sf state of the art BPO facility on donated land providing work and community development. Partnered with local BPOs, NGOs and the Kenya government to provide work contracts, advanced job placement, and soft skills training as well as ICT and work readiness training. Bindaas Business Plan Competitions - Replicating an experience BSV founder David Ashworth had while obtaining his MBA at Babson, BSV is working to partner with student groups from top US universities with local NGOs and communities of Kawangware, Mathare, and Kibera slums in Nairobi, Kenya to stage an annual business plan competition in the community. Working with supporting schools in each of the communities the student groups will be provided with a for-credit, spring break alternative and the opportunity to work in social enterprise.
