Bio Fuels Unlimited purchased Green Global Energy in July, 2009. Green Global Energy was involved in converting waste vegetable oil to bio diesel, an environmentally friendly alternative to petro-diesel. The plant was built over the course of three years by Daniel Schriber (Chief Technology Officer and founder) and Jeffery Oliver (Vice President). Both operating partners also worked on all other facets of the business including; plant design and build, contractor hiring and management, business strategy, accounting, finance and investor relations, purchasing, sales and marketing, and general adminstrative duties. The plant was unable to reach full production, and the business was seriously undermined by the lapse of the biodiesel blender's credit in December of 2009. With no additional sources of investment capital in place the company is now in the process of winding down, and selling off the assets.
