Biofest is the annual technical festival of the Department of Biotechnology, IIT Madras. Emboldened by the success of its five previous editions, Biofest 2017 had a strong vision aimed at enthusing students by providing them exposure to the diverse fields of Biotechnology, through a plethora of events. Being one of the few student-organized technical festivals, Biofest provides an ideal platform for industry-academia and industry-student nexus. Biofest accommodates a diversity of participants such as Undergraduate and Post Graduate Students, PhD Scholars and even School Students.
