Robert Rushford, along with the other founders of BioIQ, developed a new plant nutrition solution that provides regenerative and all natural solutions for farmers and agribusiness to improve the health of the planet through scientific innovation.BioIQ recognises that current fertiliser practices are unsustainable so they're solving the toughest problems facing the industry today.Through the addition of powerful soil biology to high grade composted materials and fertilisers, BioIQ utilises specific microbes to convert nitrogen from the air to reduce crops' externally applied daily nitrogen needs.BioIQ allows nutrients in the soil, such as potassium and phosphorous, to be mined by plants that protect them from pathogen attack and stimulates their immune system leading in a reduction in synthetic fertiliser and chemical use.Not only do synthetic nitrogen fertilisers over use the carbon in the soil, synthetic urea has definite implications for existing micro-organisms in the soil. It's a very simple equation.
