BIO.NRW is the official network for Biotechnology and Life Science in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany's largest and economically most powerful federal state. Since 2008, BIO.NRW acts on behalf of the State Government of NRW and the office is run by the Juelich Research Center. BIO.NRW stimulates cooperation between companies, research institutes, and the state sector along value-added chains in the most important areas of Life Sciences – hereby setting a focus on the support of start-ups with regard to financing, internationalization and access to public funding, i.e. project consortia.On our website, we offer all companies and scientists in NRW a platform with current information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. These include support programmes and funding from the state, federal government and the EU as well as relevant reports from companies and the scientific community.
