Breakthrough bioscience innovation is everywhere, while bioscience funding and management talent is highly concentrated in core biotech hubs. Breakthrough discoveries from other regions often struggle to attract the necessary funding and leadership required for these innovations to reach their full potential. Outside the big biotech hubs, the waves are bigger. Developing life sciences companies outside of the major biotech hubs is not the same. What is learned from Boston, San Francisco, London or Berlin is relevant, but not sufficient. The waves we face are bigger.Bioscience Navigators is a for-profit company with a social purpose. By providing, hands-on, experienced executive leadership to very early-stage bioscience innovations, we believe that breakthrough bioscience outside the core regionscan create global impact and support vibrant local bioscience ecosystems. It is at the very early-stage, where experienced leadership is most critical and typically least accessible outside the traditional hubs. Our business model makes this leadership cost efficient, with less risk to investors and talent through a diversified portfolio. The local impact of our mission is enhanced through independent non-profit foundations focused on local bioscience ecosystem development, which is partially funded by 10% of any economic returns from the Bioscience Navigators portfolio. Finally, our core values keep values keep us together and humble when the seas get rough, as they always do from time-to-time:- Honor the science- None of us is smarter than all of us- Remember our purpose: global and local
