BS is a unique design school, which is a profit organization in the private sector in Ankara, Turkey. BS offers design studios for adults and after school education for children and youth (ages 4-18). BS also helps students to enhance their school admission portfolios in the process of university applications, especially when applying on design or fine arts majors in Europe and the United States.Continuing education program for adults, youth and children of BS broadens their artistic horizons by helping them to articulate their own responses to the world through the visual language of art and design. The program includes basic design, drawing, fine arts and art history classes. This education provides developing transversal skills (creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration) with the implementation of design education which takes the basic design courses in the first year of universities for architectural design, industrial design, city planning, fashion design, fine arts and graphic design majors as a base and ease them by transforming these courses for a non-formal education approach. BS strives to cultivate an analytical thinking and decision-making process and become nationally widespread to support and inform educators and parents about design education in and outside of the school environment. BS's design and architectural education program aims to develop one's ability to perceive, comprehend, evaluate and conceptualize her/his surroundings. BS uses emboldening brainstorming, group discussions, demonstrations and exhibitions as well as utilizing dynamic, and progressive hands-on, 3D working methods to celebrate diversity and encourage the peculiarities of its participants.
