The purpose of Birdland Audio is to approach, as much as possible, perfection in music reproduction (as natural as live) and to provide the best quality at moderate prices. Why should an amplifier cost $30000, when its cost in parts is nowhere near 1/10th of that amount? By best sound quality, we mean music the way it sounds in real life, not the colored sound that can appear to sound good nor, the processed sound that pleases enhances certain pleasing frequencies. We strive to simply deliver the music and emotion as truly as it was recorded. Interestingly enough, the closer one gets to that perfection, the better a system sounds. Thus our mission statement "The Way Music Should Sound".
