The design of BJS Czech plant will catch your eye when passing exit 90 closed to Humpolec on the highway connecting Prague and Brno. The graffiti designed building belongs to largest furniture producer in Czechia.HISTORY of the group started in 1917, when small furniture company Bröderna Johansson Sängfabrik, later BJS, was established in Smålandsstenar, Sweden. The relocation of the company to Czech Republic started in 2005 due to interesting combination of woodworking industry tradition, local material resources and availability of skilled staff. The first production started already in 2006. The first customer was IKEA, the traditional partner of BJS.PRODUCTS from BJS are produced for IKEA – the largest furniture retailer worldwide and are distributed globally to Asia, Europe, USA and to Canada. The most typical products belonging to white pigment furniture are day beds, chest of drawers, wardrobes and working tables. In BJS product range, we can find also furniture in other colours – shades of black, grey and others colours are growing in last years. Thanks to high productivity, quality and logistic, BJS Czech belongs to the biggest companies in Humpolec and in the Vysočina region.FUTURE and success of company is based on two priorities – development and investment. New technologies and automation let grown BJS Czech into well developed company, equipped with automatic feeding of roller coating line, robotization and automation on packaging lines.
