Black Garden exists to combat systemic discrimination and support black youth in creating a better future for Canada's black community.We believe the following will have a considerable and measurable impact on the social and economic lives of black Canadians: 1. Early intervention targeting black youth in vulnerable communities; 2. Exposure to a wide range of professional and entrepreneurial opportunities; 3. Establishing connections to individuals and resources that will help black youth to pursue these opportunities and create their own; and 4. Inspiring black youth to "plant seeds as they sprout" by remaining involved in their communities while progressing towards their goals.
